0Dubai – Jumeirah Beach Hotel- Review
Dubai always sounds like a great idea!!
What2 do? I was travelling with my mum, unlike my girl’s trip in May which consisted of the best night clubs Dubai had to offer! I had my mum to take into consideration. Whilst she thinks she’s one of the girls, I actually wanted to relax and unwind.
So Why2 Dubai? It reminds me of my first love, London that is! With the tall buildings, rooftop bars, shopping malls and amazing Spa’s. Unlike London, the weather is nice all year round or should I say 40 degrees in September!
Jumeirah Beach Hotel:
Overlooking the 7 star luxury hotel I had high expectations for the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and they sure met them. When we arrived to our room we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and cake which was the perfect welcome gesture.
My top things to do in Jumeirah Beach Hotel:
Wild Wadi – Regardless of your age you have to visit the water park, the lazy river was my favourite ride.
Talise Spa: Views of the yachts and The Burj Al Arab the spa was a hidden sanctuary when it got a little too hot outside, try the Plunge Pool if you’re brave enough!
Bars: With Uptown and 360 bars we didn’t have to go very far to enjoy tasty cocktails and iconic views of Dubai.
Dining: We were on half board; not only could we dine in the Jumeriah Beach Hotel but also other Jumeirah hotels. The Rivington Grill remains one of my favourites and if you get an outside table you’ll be able to watch the fountain shows in the evening.
My top things to do in Dubai:
Shopping: From the Souks, Dubai mall and Mall of the Emirates there is something for everyone, if visiting the Souks don’t be alarmed if you are approached, everyone’s got to make a living!
Yacht hire: Want to see some of the amazing sites Dubai have to offer, why not do it in style on a luxury yacht, there were only 2 of us on our yacht but we pumped up our music and sailed round for 2 hours.
Clubbing: My favourite club was Club White it was like an open arena for something different I’m talking fire breathers club Cirque had it all.
Spa: There was one place I knew I was heading having stayed their previously, Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa. The name speaks for itself really, the Pure Relaxation Massage was bliss and we lost track of time in the 5 Hammam pools.
Dining: No matter how many times I visit there are still more restaurants on my list, however CUT by Wolfgang Puck (The Address Downtown) stood out for me, when I say it was possibly the BEST Steak and Mac n’ cheese I’ve tasted I mean it and I’ve had a few! Also check out the Afternoon Tea I thought it was popular in my capital but it exceeded my expectations… Why not dream about Christian Louboutin’s whilst at The Vogue Café (Dubai Mall) my other two favourites were Fortnum and Mason of course I’m a London Girl (Dubai Mall) and Burj Al Arab for the 7 star experience.
With luxury around every corner I will be booking my return to Dubai very soon.
