When you think of Lebanese restaurants, you probably think of shisha, mix grills and a casual atmosphere to match… But did you think of fine dining?
Yasmeen Restaurant opened their doors a few months ago and have already set records and won awards for their take on the Lebanese cuisine. These guys have taken their own spin on the cuisine and want us Londoners to grab our heels and our shirts, and munch on their traditional Lebanese dishes.
Straight away we knew we we’re in for a treat when we rocked up and was blown away by the design of the restaurant. Some may say that it isn’t in the most popular of places to have a restaurant but they sure don’t have any competition, as these guys have a spot like no other! With a garden terrace at the front of the restaurant and staff waiting to seat you inside their nicely lit area, all they needed was the food to be great…
With that being said the food was scrumptious and if you’re new to the cuisine, we suggest you keep it simple. We personally would suggest you feast on their humous and bread, falafel and chicken wings for starters as these are what we often order and tasted great. For the mains we recommend the mix grill (Obviously) with chips or rice as it went well with both. We also tried their meal of the day which was lush. Overall the food is delicious and if you’re not really a meat lover Yasmeen restaurant have many options on the menu to satisfy all.
So if you love good food, good atmosphere and looking for a place to dress up and munch on reasonably priced food, then Yasmeen Restaurant is the spot.
