VOC – Restaurant – Review

Tucked in the heart of King’s Cross, sits quirky little bar and restaurant, VOC! Located in a hidden courtyard just minutes away from King’s Cross Station, this cosy plush spot is the perfect escape from all the hustle and bustle.

As soon as you step through the door, you notice the warm antique decor and the dim lit bar, immediately giving a very chilled and relaxing atmosphere. You can’t miss the bar ahead of you, where they provide some of the best award winning drinks, especially their selection of specialty cocktails! I happened to try The Butterfly cocktail, a delicious blend of spiced rum, ginger liqueur, coconut and ginger beer.

We are then lead upstairs to a very spacious dining area to feast on  VOC’s new small plate menu. The menu consists with an elegant and refined selection of food from the sea, from the land and from the field. I had to sampled a little bit of every section and must say that the prawns and the lamb, were my favs. The food was delicious and left me feeling very satisfied.

We thoroughly enjoyed their deserts and the service that came with all.

In a nut shell, VOC really did an amazing job with the presentation of their food, deserts and beverages! Everything was reasonably priced and affordable; we definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to dine in King’s Cross.

Hints And Tips: You can easily eat for under £25!!!
