Tasting Notes- Rhubarb & Custard @BAFTA 195- Review

What To: Last week we got the chance to experience Tasting Notes – Rhubarb and Custard tasting event at BAFTA 195, (head quarters of the Bafta awards) in Piccadilly. The tasting event was aimed as a indoor press event but due to it’s success and positive feedback, there has been talks of the event going public.

So What is the event all about? Lets just say it’s all in the title! Focusing on cake making and cocktail tasting. Tasting Notes is a series of events which invites audience members into a immersive atmosphere. This one involved baking, gossiping and drinking, all under the supervision of Club Manager Graham Lloyd-Bennett and Head Chef Anton Manganaro.

Why To: It’s not everyday you get the chance to rock up to the BAFTA 195 building and get comfortable over drinks and cake.

We assumed that it would take a while for us to settle in, as we didn’t know a lot of people there, but as soon as the event kicked off, everyone took off their work faces and the atmosphere became very casual. This event is perfect for mingling and socialising… especially for those who love their cocktails.
