So what makes poppies so special?

The atmosphere, staff and live music… yes you read correctly! Throughout the week Poppies has a selection of their favourite bands hitting the stage (Fish n Gigs).

So whilst we were munching on our scrumptious cod and curried chips, we were bobbing our heads to classic old school tunes. But wherever you are eating in or taking out, Poppies fish and chips is worth traveling across town for. Although It wasn’t just the fish and chips that was good but their sticky toffee and apple pie, knocked our socks off!

It’s obvious that poppies isn’t your average chip shop, it was like every visitor was family. People were not shy to stand up and dance, sing out load and even grab your hand for a dance.

Now we understand that theres a fish and chip shop on every corner in town but always remember theres not a Poppies fish and chip shop!
