Anyone that loves doughnuts this is Doughnut heaven! Krispy Kreme is arguably the best doughnut company in the world and we managed to stumble across a well kept secret. Krispy Kreme have a open public factory that they call the Hotlight store located in North London (Enfield) where they produce thousands of doughnuts per day.

It amazed us to see that the store had a drive thru,but we wanted the full on experience . Visitors get to witness the making of great doughnuts being made in Krispy’s very own Doughnut theatre. A chance to watch the layering of the icing, fillings and the sprinkles coming together to make your perfect doughnut. The experience was more fun than we expected and great for families with children.

We purchased a dozen HOTTTTT!!!!!!! Doughnuts (literally 5 seconds old) and I’m telling you there isn’t a better doughnut in the world. Between 2 of us we guzzled down 12 in HALF N HOUR FLAT. Be sure to visit during hot operating hours.If you cant get down to one of their Hotlight stores, you can always find a krispy kreme coffee bar or cabinet in other areas or shopping centre.
