K West Hotel & Spa – Review

‘I spy with my little eye something beginning with K’

Away from the bellows of the largest shopping centre in Europe, stands gleaming with its bright lights and beautiful scene, The K Spa, ideally located in the K West Hotel, for those ‘City Bumpkins’ looking for an Urban Spa retreat.

So Why2 to visit the K Spa… Firstly K Spa won ‘Best UK Luxury Spa’ award in 2011, my eyes then instantly turned to the K Spa day features, attention to detail and not forgetting what they had on the menu for lunch! The K Spa is an edgy and vibrant spa, they sure took care of our every need, from easy check in to robes and slippers provided I soon got in the mood.

What2 do at K Spa:

The Snow Room: The K Spa is not shy when it comes to originality as they were the first Spa to open a Snow Room… With persistence I conquered standing in the unknown temperatures with just my bikini on, for a minute or two!!

Sun Meadow: Feeling a little low try the Sun Meadow at the K Spa, it will sure lift your spirits as the seasons change.

Treatments: Like most people I have a lot of tension built up, I felt revived and refreshed after having the Ultimate Aromatherapy Experience treatment at K Spa. After my treatment I restored my energy in the relaxation area.

Why not wish upon a star in the hydrotherapy pool, switch between the hot and cold temperatures with the sauna, steam room and snow room or if you’re anything like me first and last in the pool!

We had organised a full day at the K Spa and after working up an appetite in the facilities our attention soon turned to the food.

To Eat: 3 course lunch sounds good to me and if there’s chocolate cake on the menu it sounds even better… There was a wide range of options on the menu at K Spa I certainly didn’t leave anything on my plate.
