Joes Kitchen- Bromley- Review

Take a bite out of some traditional breakfast and lunch grub, at Bromley’s shoppers’ rest-stop Joe’s Kitchen.
What2: Joe’s Kitchen is a welcoming and casual Restaurant and Coffee House situated within the Bromley INTU Shopping Centre. It’s casual, cosy but spacious setting is a regular haunt for shoppers, friends and families alike. With a varied menu it’s got something for everyone: everything from Cheese Toasties to Crab Risotto. Burgers to to full-English fry-ups.

Why2: Because you’re literally spoiled for choice. On our visit we went with Joes Homemade Burger’a chunky little number with added sparkly bits – red onion bacon, gherkin, cheese – all inside a glazed bun. Skin-on fries and their strawberry and banana ‘smoothie of the day’ rounded off the meal nicely. We’re always pretty indecisive (and greedy) when it comes to menu’s we ordered some of their breaded Lime & Chilli Calamari on the side. A crunchy, tasty, “one portion isn’t enough” type side dish. It goes without saying – the food was delicious, and wont break the bank either. Eating for two people cost us just over £10 each (including drinks). Bargain for the quality of the food. Since we’re in the age of Instagram, we also have to say that their food was definitely well-presented: a must for all social-media savvy guests! As mentioned before the menu is very varied, and we only just touched the surface on our visit. There are many other tasty dishes you can sample (Chicken Parpadelle Carbonara or a Chirizo Pan Hash to name a few) as well as great coffee and hot drinks.

When2: Catch these guys open from 9am until 5pm Mon-Sat and 11am until 5pm on a Sunday. Perfect for pre-shopping brekkie or post-shopping refuelling!

What2 says:
Joe’s Kitchen is a great place for a quick meal or a leisurely grub-out. Whatever you’re there for, the food plus the great service will make your time with them memorable. Families are also welcome (there is even bottle-warming facilities!) so a great somewhere to stop with the little ones. We will definitely making a pit-stop here again. Oh, and if you’re ever shopping at Bromley INTU don’t forget, Joe’s Kitchen is on the ground floor, right next door to Boots.

Happy feasting!
