Go Ape- Review

This weekend the What2 team got the chance to check out Go Ape adventure park and wow was this an experience. The team had previously written an article on Go ape and gave reasons why we felt this is a What2 that needed to be experience and we were definitely right!

Go Ape is The perfect adventure that is around the corner from our home town London and great for many occasions. With many of Go Ape parks around we attended the Newly opened adventure park in Crawley, which was a hour and 20 min drive. Each park specialise in different adventures and the Crawley branch consist of launching from tall trees and handing from long zip wires.

The Go Ape staff make you feel secure the minute you enter the park with a demonstration of what will take place within your visit and how all of their equipment work. Unlike theme parks, you have total control of how fast you go or how much you can handle. Each visitor is equipped with a harness and wires that will secure you to the equipment. The staff brief you on what2 do once you are in with the trees and up with the clouds. Once that is all said and done, you get the opportunity to have a practice run and at this point you can say whether you can or can’t continue on your adventures.

The park is built for all weather conditions so don’t stress if it is pouring with rain, like it was for us. We still launched from branch to branch and swung from tree to tree, smiling from ear to ear. With adrenialine pumping we didn’t realise how dirty are clothes had become, so make sure you head on down with your rags on.

Go Ape is great for all ages, with a mini adventure park on site for the younger ones.
