0DUM – BIRYANI HOUSE – INDIAN RESTAURANT REVIEW
In a small Soho basement, lies Dum Biryani house… a biryani specialist indian restaurant. With no expectations for the restaurant, we walked into a vibrant and cosy atmosphere. Music popping and hands on staff, the already knew we we’re in for a treat.
Dum Biryani house focuses on small sharing plates and obviously Biryani… so we ordered just that! All of the meat dishes are worth ordering. We couldn’t get enough of the coconut prawns, chicken wings and mutton fry, which are all delicious. If you’re not a fan of pepper, i strongly suggest you stay away from the wings. Theres only so much we can say about rice but the biryani is way more than just a rice dish. Filled with flavours, chicken, egg and topped with soft crust pastry, we demolished it. The menu is very small and works well, as all the dishes are carefully selected and go great together.
If you are looking for a indian restaurant that knows its spices and biryani, then Dum biryani house is the spot. The taste and the price work perfectly well together, just be sure to book a table.
Dum biryani house is a good spot to have a intimate dinner date, or a night out with friends and colleagues.
Hints and Tips: 3 starters and a biryani is enough to share!
