DRAGON INN CLUB – VICTORIA – ASIAN REVIEW

Dragon Inn Club is a Asian Sichuan restaurant specialising in spicy and flavoursome dishes. Having recently opened their doors a few months ago in the heart of Victoria, it was only right we checked these guys out.

On arrival we instantly noticed the dim lights, zen like atmosphere and decor that made us feel that we had left town. With bamboo, dark wood furniture and many references to China, The Dragon Inn Club tells a story.

As you may or may not know asian cuisines are our favs and we couldn’t wait to get a glimpse of the menu.

The menu features a range of dishes including the classics and some that we have never tried. So if your’e feeling experimental talk to the chef and he will cook you up something special. We kept things simple, so we could compare and must say… we will be heading back again. For starters we ordered Chicken Dumplings, Spring rolls and was suggested that we feast on the prawn ravioli’s which was delicious. Our mains consisted of Sichuan Lobster, sweet and sour chicken…. wait… now this wasn’t just any sweet and sour chicken. It was served with a range of fruits, with a pineapple as a plate! These then went with king prawn noodles and egg fried rice.

Overall the food was lush and so we’re the mocktails, which our waiter opted to make us.

The Dragon inn club is most certainly a place to try, especially if you are near the city and wanting a good bite to eat.

Our only issue was that the dimness of the lights in the restaurant effected us getting our snap/insta on, as the lighting heavily effected our images and called for our canon.

Although The Dragon inn club is not to far from the city, the prices are far from city prices. You can easily dine for under £35... so know need to worry about the bank.
