Cirilo – Noodle Bar – Review

When you hear the words noodle bar, I’m sure you instantly think of noodles but how about fresh fish, Grilled meats and obviously all of the other good stuff.

Cirilo is Tower hills little secret, that we we’re happy to be introduced to. Cirilo is a family own philippine restaurant, that serves traditional dishes with a loving hand. Knowing that the owner of the restaurant is also the chef, blew our mind as we we’re told that he has no days off. We are big fans of independent restaurants and never want their work to go unnoticed, especially because it’s easy too.

Cirilo is a small restaurant with a team filled with big hearts, we couldn’t help but noticed how attentive the staff were. This was just not to us but to all of their customers!!!

With 2 main menus up for grabs we decided to go for the chefs special, which including, diced lamb for starters and sea bass served with prawns for our mains. Now obviously we couldn’t help but order a potion of chicken wings and sweet and sour chicken served with mixed meat rice. The potions we’re not the biggest but they were enough and got right to the spot. We must say that we were newbies to the Filipino food and definitely assumed that it was going to taste nothing like what we imagined. But it was tasty… the fish tasted very fresh and the meat was tender as ever. Its always risking going for the chefs special but thats what we loved!!!

Cirilo is the perfect spot for a quiet casual meal and a place to save the pennies. We noticed that many people came in for takeaways, so if your not wanting a table, defo grab a takeaway!
