Bird Restaurant – Review

Who doesn’t love a piece of crispy fried chicken… What if you could eat Fried chicken but not having to worry about all of the fat contents. Well now you can at Bird Restaurant.

Bird Restaurant has come to save the day! We at What2, were always wondering when a restaurant was going to feature chicken a waffles on the menu and Bird Restaurant has done just that. These guys have finally brought the american traditional dish to London town but made it as healthy as possible. With all their chicken being Free Range and freshly delivered daily, Bird Restaurant know exactly what they are doing. Not only do they do chicken and waffles but they serve up some mean chicken wings, standard chicken pieces and some great salads too. They are also apart of the doughnut industry… serving some delicious doughnuts in the morning until they are sold out.

We couldn’t resist but to try their speciality chicken and waffles, which left us gob smack. Not only were the waffles perfectly done, they were savoury with pieces of bacon inside. We also recommend you try out their hot and sweet chicken wings along with what ever you decide order.

Bird Restaurant have a small content based menu, allowing them to fully focus on exactly what is being served. So we know that they will be producing greatness in the kitchen. Owned by a husband and wife, we have a strong feeling that Bird Restaurant is going to be one of London’s new cool Hotspots… There definitely becoming ours.

Located on Kingsland Road in Shoreditch, you cant miss them, especially with the bright coloured logo and the vibrant atmosphere to match.
