Absurd Bird is more than just another chicken joint… Specialising in southern favourites. This chicken house is one to try out.
Absurd bird has been on our radar for sometime now, and we finally got the chance to check it all out. As culture dish lovers, we couldn’t wait to feast on our southern must haves, mac n cheese, corn bread and obviously chicken and waffles. The corn bread and the chicken and waffles were the standouts for us, tasting exactly how we like em. If you’re a lover of chicken wings, these guys are serving massive wings, with a variety of flavours. The restaurant is not only known for their food but these guys know how to mix up a cocktail or 2.
We we’re blown away by the vibe and amazing service, our waiter was a gem. Absurd Bird most certainly knows how to bring in a crowd because the door didn’t stop swinging, with customers wanting a table.
As foodies, we were really wanting to grab that ultimate pic but the lighting wasn’t up our street…
If you’re looking for a casual munch, for a price that won’t break the bank… then Absurd bird is the spot.
