Jerkiz – Caribbean Take-away – Review

Finding a great caribbean shop can sometimes be a little tricky but we have always been a big fan of Jerkiz which simply is one of the best Caribbean Take-aways in south London.

Jerkiz is that perfect go to spot for home cooked Jamaican dishes, especially…jerk chicken. These guys certainly know how to throw down in the kitchen. With reasonable prices and a prime location, you’re bound to be more than satisfied. We have been visiting this spot for over 6 months and often visit them at least 3 times a month, so they must be good.

When visiting Jerkiz we would often order curry goat or oxtail served with rice and peas along with their must try carrot juice. The portions vary, so depending on your stomach you can always go for a large. Most importantly, what we love about Jerkiz is price of their meals… You can grab a meal for under £5! But if your looking for a quick bite, you have to try their patties and chicken wings!!!

Independent food spots often need quiet a push but these guys have built up their popularity, by word of mouth… so it’s only right we reviewed them. Places like these deserve to be recognised!!!
