Zen China… Westminster’s Chinese Restaurant
Zen China is the only Chinese restaurant that you can view the House of Parliament, River Thames and The London Eye, while you dine.
The restaurant is located in the heart of London on the South Bank and this is defiantly one of the reasons why we love it. The perfect spot to eat if you enjoy the views of London or simply a chance to dress up a little fancy and have a good dining experience.
Not only is Zen China surrounded by great attractions but the restaurant itself is amazing. Its sometimes hard finding a reasonable Chinese restaurant that is good in price and has great tasting food to go with it… these guys do just that. Us at What 2 are a lover of Sweet and Sour chicken whatever Chinese restaurant we visit, so we put Zen China to the test too see if they could impress our taste buds. Yep you guessed it… they did just that. The food was delicious and came to the table piping hot and stayed hot whilst we ate. Their chicken wings are to die for and if you want to spend a bit of cash, try their signature dish “Peking Duck” which is also lovely.
The service was good and staff were very friendly, making us feel welcomed and comfortable. The restaurant has a calm and serene atmosphere allowing you to just eat and enjoy.
Zen china is the perfect spot for a first date or any date night in general.
Hints and Tips: Make a day of if and take a walk along the South Bank after you’ve eaten.
