Wireless Birmingham – Review

Last weekend the What2 Team strolled down to Birmingham, to check out the Wireless Birmingham Festival. This was the first wireless festival to hit Birmingham and we were very proud to see how it would go down. With the acts performing on rotation, Birmingham experienced whatever London experienced.

Wireless Birmingham was a little quieter than our usual wireless experience but this didn’t effect the what the festival was all about… MUSIC. The Line up this year was mind blowing from Kanye to Tori Kelly… the acts came to throw down. With the disappointment of Drake’s illness, Kanye done a amazing set by playing some of Drakes tunes, giving the crowd what they needed.

One of our favourite 2014 performances this year would have to be Iggy Azelea’s… She came ready to knock the stage down. The crowd went crazy for her and she went wild for the crowd.

The atmosphere at Wireless Birmingham was very calm in comparison to London wireless, with people lying on the grass and enjoying the festival in a lounge type of way. It was great to be able to get up close and personal with the acts without too much pushing and shoving. So we would definitely recommend Wireless Birmingham for those who want a more relaxed type of festival.
