Topgolf Chigwell – Review

Not every weekend has to be the same, sometimes you have to switch it up and get a little competitive and check out Topgolf chigwell.

Topgolf Chigwell allows your to eat, play and get competitive all under one roof. Who would of thought golfing would have been so fun. Not everyone is blessed with Tiger woods skills and accuracy but we are all blessed with the ability to have fun. With targets spread all over the potting field, Topgolf chigwell challenges you to get the ball in a target. What we didn’t understand straight away is that just because you hit the ball and it goes all the way across the grounds, it doesn’t mean your any good. You have to get the balls in the targets, so the points can be calculated. To be honest by just hitting the ball and seeing that its gone in the air was a achievement for us.

Topgolf Chigwell is split into 3 sections, the mini arcade, restaurant (waiting lounge) and golfing section. Once you’ve been given a golfing bay you can bring your food and drinks outside, whilst you and your friends get your golf on. We recommend Topgolf Chigwell for that all round fun day out, especially for the lads. Golfing is that sport that is relaxing yet very competitive and will leave you feeling like you’ve just had a workout.

Once the What2 team had selected one of the five types of games on offer to play, we were ready to score some points. Each bay has a score screen that calculates how many points you scored and who’s winning. The bays also include roofing and heating for those worrying about their hair getting wet.

Food at Topgolf Chigwell is pretty straight forward… from burgers to chicken wings. You have to try out their sweet potato fries and their signature beef burgers.

The food isn’t your most romantic but its the perfect match day munch.

Saturdays at Topgolf Chigwell are the best, with a DJ blazing the hottest tunes around town and the lively atmosphere.

To golf and eat at Topgolf will cost you under £20 (games are £5.50 per person).

Sun: 9am – 12am

Topgolf isnt far from London, so don’t worry about the long drives.

Hints and Tips: weekends get very busy, so we recommend you get their before 8 to not have to wait for 2 hours.
