The Duke is a refurbished local pub in south London’s very own Deptford. The bar is great for sundays dinner or a nice and easy quick lunch/dinner. The Pub has a open roof terrence, which is perfect for the summer.
The Duke pub has a well stocked bar area and serves a good selection of food, such as sandwiches, burgers and Sunday roasts including a children’s menu. On our visit to The Duke pub we tried their specialty dish which was homemade burgers, which are delicious and are served with fries. The meal was of a decent size, we recommend that if you like your food, it would be wise to tell them you would like a little extra. With an average price of £9.50 these burgers are a great value for your money and is a local gem. For all you south Londoners, this is defiantly a spot you should try.
All drinks are available from their bar from your wines, Ciders, brandy and vodkas. Pricing of the drinks are reasonable, so if your not looking to eat, you can surely sit and enjoy a glass of whatever you order. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and there is great music to add to the scenery.
The Dukes prices help you enjoy your evening with a smile if you feel like its been a while since you’ve had drunken smile or a full tummy… why not try it. The decor is modern and inviting with mismatched cushions and kitsch decorations making the atmosphere very relaxed and family-friendly. Windows surround the pub making it very light and it also has a small roof terrace that provides outdoor seating along with that out front.
Hints and Tips: If you haven’t got time to cook on a sunday, try their sunday roast!
