0Sky Garden – The Darwin Brasserie – Restaurant Review
As you trail to the 35th floor, you will enter an architect’s bonanza at Sky Garden. Cleverly designed to maximise your views of London with The Shard as you walk through the automatic doors on to the open air terrace, look to your left you will see Tower Bridge and to the right the London Eye.
We visited the Sky Garden at night and were amazed to see the city we love lit up in all its glory at night. Every level tells a different tail, we started on the 35th for the amazing views and to take many selfies with the city behind us.
Trail one level up to experience the Sky garden’s greenery and views of the bar. You’ll also be able to catch views of the Gherkin through the bars. The Sky Garden is great setting for social meetings and the lighting is great at night for the much needed selfies.
One more level to go and we were at the Darwin Brasserie, having worked up an appetite I tucked into one of my favourite dishes Confit Duck served with lentils, staff were very attentive in helping us choose cocktails and we ended the evening tempting our sweet tooth.
Hints and tips: Be sure to book an early table if visiting on Sunday to avoid the popular dishes being sold out, arrive early if dining start with drinks at the bar and take in the ultimate experience at Sky Garden.
