Team What2 are always on the search for hidden pieces of restaurant treasure. With that being said we found a new go to Chinese restaurant in South London’s Greenwich area.
Si Chuan Chinese restaurant is situated in the heart of Greenwich right next to the Odeon cinemas and all the other food shops. We had always seen the Si Chuan chinese restaurant on the corner of the road but never thought to go in, but with that said we decided to finally check it out.
The restaurant looks a lot better in the inside than the outside, which didn’t surprise us to why we hadn’t visited before. And wow are we happy we didn’t judge a book by its cover. Straight away we were acknowledge by their staff, who seated us at one of the coolest tables, that was circular and had spinning hot plates.
For all those who are looking for that nice little evening out, without breaking the bank, Si Chuan Chinese restaurant is the spot. The menu has pictures to help you decide what you want to tuck into and clear prices that include the service charge. When we dine at Chinese restaurants we always have to compare their sweet and sour chicken… its tradition. Their sweet and sour was perfect, along with the prawn toast, spring rolls, noodles and duck. The only thing we weren’t to keen on was their rice but I’m sure that was just a one off.
With valentines around the corner… Si chuan, has a lot to offer and were sure your date would love it.
Once you’ve dined at Si Chuan Chinese restaurant you can always check out a movie at the Odeon next door.
