Paris Is Always A Good Idea – Review

Paris has always been at the top of list of places to visit and we finally did it! The city filled with romantics and a whole lot of fashion inspiration, was just what we needed!

Visiting paris isn’t always the cheapest spot to visit but a few days won’t kill you. We found that 3 days was the ideal time frame for us, to take it all in and not get bored… Because theres only so much sight seeing and eating we could do.

So why Paris: With the city only 2 hours and a bit away from London, you can slot it in without having to book too many days off work or out of your day to day life.

Paris is perfect for that ultimate romantic get away or that designer shopping retreat. When you think of what to do in Paris you instantly think of going to the Eiffel Tower or taking a trip on a boat but we would suggest otherwise. Yes the Eiffel Tower is amazing but we fell in love with their restaurants. Who would of thought that the french we’re just as obsessed with food like us Brits! The second we stepped foot onto paris sole, we instantly wanted to visited their top restaurants… so we did and heres our top 3…

KONG– When you ask someone about a nice place to dine in paris, they will instantly scream Kong (Well when you ask a Londoner). Situated just across the road from a massive Louis vitton building, this restaurant, is all about its atmosphere. Kong is great for a fancy night out, the one we’re you go all out on the make-up and the heels or that suit, to feast on a variety of dishes, whilst bouncing to jams. The atmosphere alone will have you buzzing and if that doesn’t work, the view and decor will definitely tick your boxes.

L’avenue– This restaurant is the perfect spot to have a chilled bite to eat with a lovely atmosphere and isn’t going to break the bank. This is the place that many celebs come to catch up or take in the city… so they say… Its only right you join em.

Le Relais De L’entrecote– Theres always a place that has us surprised and Le Relais De L’entrcote was that place. With over 40 people queuing outside, we we’re betting that this place had to be either amazingly good or reasonably cheap… it was both! With such an easy concept (steak and chips) this spot knows exactly how to pull in its numbers. It was so good that we went back twice throughout our stay in paris… so you have to check it out.

Whenever we travel we like visit some of the same places we have at home, so we can compare. Their Mcdonalds was a lot more exciting than ours and came across a lot bigger (Reminded me of america). They take double burgers to a totally different level… can you image a double fish o fillet burger…

Paris also have the best waffles!!!

For those not really looking to spend their cash on food or shopping, we suggest you visit all of their major landmarks, which can honestly be done in a day and jump on the bikes to make it a little more exciting. Paris is also great for just getting away and checking into a lovely hotel and watching the city go past from the heights of it all.
