Notting Hill Carnival- 25th and 26th August

Notting hill Carnival is around the corner and were making sure your ready and geared up for this once a year festival.

Notting hill Carnival is the perfect place to let go and shake a leg, whilst enjoying the sounds of the Caribbean. Notting hill has been host to Notting hill carnival since 1964 and it is forever growing. People from all over the world come to London, just to take part and explore Carnival.

The festival will take place over the bank holiday weekend from Sunday the 25th to Monday the 26th of August. Both days will feature live bands, Floats, great food and amazing DJ’s. Notting hill carnival have dedicated sunday for children’s day, although some people tend to go as a family to both. We recommend keeping the family all together as you dont want to get lost amongst the big crowds and loud environment. People do say that sunday is the more family friendly day, as on monday there will be the main parade.

If your a lover of Caribbean food, there will be loads of pop up food stalls for you to grab some of the best tasting jerk chicken around. Nottting hill carnival is defiantly a event that every Londoner should explore at least once in a lifetime. Its a chance for you to get a little tipsy and dance like you’ve never danced before. With social media booming make sure you take loads of pictures and videos, especially if your pulling out a must see outfit.

The carnival runs through all of the main roads linking to Notting hill, so be prepared to be surround by people everywhere. We would advise taking public transport as there will be hardly any parking.
