Natural History Museum- Ice Rink

We definitely know its getting cold, when ice skating rinks pop up and become apart of museum attractions. Were excited to throw on the warmest clothes and go for a winter skate at the Natural History Museums ice skating rink.

Natural History Museum is one of London’s most visited museums and this month on the 31st of october they will be opening their 1,000 square metre ice skating rink. The ice rink will be at the Natural history museum until the 5th of january, so you have enough time to check it out.

Ice skating is one of those activities that is good fun for everyone,  families, friends, children and the elderly. It may be a little cold, but once you have doubled up on socks and gloves… its great fun. Tickets for the rink are reasonable and vary due to off peak and peak times.  Adults skate at £13.50/£11.50 and children are £9/£8, theres also family discount if you attend with 2 adults and 2 children. The peak sessions are on weekends and anytime after 4pm. The rink opens 10- 9pm on weekdays and 9-10pm on weekends (times vary) for a full list of opening times visit: www.nhm.ac.uk

So for all those that are not really into visiting museums or have never been to the Natural history museum, heres your reason to check it out. You’ll have a blast trying to keep your balance, whilst holding onto the side panels of the rink. Winter in London is always the best especially because we know its nearly christmas.

This is a nice activity to get out the house and have some fun with your friends and love ones. After you’ve whizzed around the rink, you can check out their cafe and grab a hot drink to warm you up.

Hints and Tips: Students get student discount on Mondays and Tuesday until december the 3rd… QUICK.

Let us know if your going to check it out.
