Mr Liu – Dulwich Chinese Restaurant
Dulwich is a great location for small great tasting restaurants and Mr Liu’s is one of them. Based in east Dulwich, lordship lane, you cant miss this Chinese cuisine.
Mr Lui has been around for a while and has built up its popularity due to their amazing menu and good prices. Lordship lane has a strip of all different types of cuisines and bars and Mr Lui’s is the one we are constantly attending. The What2 team have been dining at Mr Liu’s for over 6 years and we are never disappointed. This tight knit restaurant is perfect for all occasions, birthdays, celebrations and even romantic dates. Its such a nice cosy atmosphere, you wont be disappointed. The people are lovely and always offering their advice on dishes. Some people tend to only feast on the same dishes when it comes to Chinese, so we would recommend you stick to the usual on the first trip to Mr Lui but once you become a regular, get to experimenting.
The menu is divided into section that separate vegetarians, set courses, starters and mains. They specialise in soups, seafood dishes, barbecued dishes, sizzling plate dishes, curries, and chefs specials. Obviously they do they everyday beef, chicken and pork dishes. Mr Lui’s do their sweet and sour chicken just how we like it, hot, crispy and tender. They also serve up a mean aromatic duck and pancakes, which is perfect if your dining with someone else.
If you want that little hotspot that has good food and not to much of a hassle to get a booking, Mr Lui’s is the spot!
They are open Monday- Sunday 5.30pm-11pm- call up to book a table for more than 2 people.
Hints and Tips: Weekends Mr lui’s gets a little busy, so call up before you head all the way down there.
