Mango Tree – Restaurant- 50% Off -Review

Mango tree has been on our radar for quiet some time and we finally got the time to see what they have to offer. As you know What2 is all about finding cool new things for Londoners to do in town and with that being said, we often check out older spots who have special offers.

Mango Tree and Open Table are currently offering 50 percent off their main menu. The offer allows you to order a minimum of one starter and one main course per person at a certain time. We couldn’t resist but book a table instantly and run down to Victoria.

A restaurant that has offers is a restaurant to check out… who doesn’t love a bargain.

It’s not often that we dine on Thai food, so it was nice to tuck into Mango Tree and eat something different. Their Thai dishes are served with great presentation and generous portion sizes. Its always wise to ask the waiter whats their most popular dish, if you are unsure of what to order. The staff are very helpful and allowed us to ask as many questions and take as long as we needed.

The What2 team dined on Satay screwers and Prawn Spring rolls for starters, which were both mouth watering good. The satay screwers were most certainly our favourite starter as they came with a selection of prawn, beef and chicken.

We kept it simple when ordering our main meals at Mango Tree because we really want to go back. Our mains came out sizzling hot, with one being served in a pineapple and the other we couldn’t take our eyes off. Bot mains were rice dishes, but we do recommend you mixing it up a little with curry or a meat dish. When dining out it’s only right you order a cocktail or two… the drinks are not included on the 50% offer but their worth tasting.

Mango Tree is definitely up the rank amongst the most quality restaurants in town and with them hosting such a great offer, you would be crazy not to head on down.
