Jamie’s Italian Restaurant
After constant suggestions we had to check out Jamie Oliver’s Italian Restaurant in Stratford Westfield’s. London has a lot of great Italian Restaurants and Jamie’s Italian is one of them. They have a chain of restaurants making travelling less stressful and easier to plan your day. If you’re an early bird Jamie’s opens at 8 am, so you can catch a bite to eat any time of the day.
The Italian restaurant is filled with vintage wine bottles and has classic décor making you feel like you’re in an Italian kitchen. The staff appeared cheerful and willing to give you all the help that’s needed. Once comfortable we found it ideal to order a selection of dishes so that everyone could get a taste of each dish. The standout dish on the menu for us was the seafood platter that consists of fish and shellfish. It was covered in a light batter and served with a cheesy sauce, perfect for fish lovers. It was also the first time we had tasted deep fried squid and couldn’t resist ordering more. Little did we know squid had 10 arms and a head… but very tasty. If your not really a fish lover and wanna play safe, we recommend you try their pasta dishes.Not all of Jamie’s main meals come with side dishes. So be prepared to order some of their posh or funky chips, which go great with everything.
Jamie’s is great if you have just finished shopping or if you just want a taste of little Italy, this Italian restaurant is perfect for a good old catch up and a laugh with your mates.
There are loads of Jamie’s Italian restaurants around London so don’t panic if your closet branch is fully booked there’s always another not too far away.
Once London gets a little warmer we recommend you eat outside, it adds to the experience.
