Four Seasons Hampshire – Review

Sometimes taking yourself away from the hustle and bustle of London can ease your mind off of the everyday stresses… What better way to do so than in the Four Season Hampshire which is about an hours drive outside of London.

Hampshire is ideal for couples looking for a retreat and families wanting to explore the great outdoors. You may wish to venture out to visit Highclere Castle which plays host to the TV show Downton Abbey. I had just come back from Dubai in May and was having the blues so when my friend said Spa Break I did not hesitate.

The Four Seasons Hampshire: Having won England’s Leading Resort award in 2013, there’s no wonder why our visit was so pleasant with staff doing their upmost to ensure our stay was one to remember. When we arrived at the Hotel we were directed to our room and given details on what to do within the hotel and the surrounding area. I must say just walking through the grounds the abundance of fresh flowers showed great attention to detail. When we arrived to our room it was extremely spacious and featured 2 full sized mirrors which was great for that much needed selfie! There was one thing on my mind as the weather was in the late 20’s, Pool time! The hotel features a 20 metre indoor pool that leads to a heated outdoor pool with massage chairs, great to catch the sun rays but rest assured if the suns away the heated indoor pool was just as nice.

Our top things to do at the Four Seasons Hampshire:

Spa relaxation room: As we spent most of the afternoon by the pool and venturing into the sauna and steam room a rest was most definitely needed. Located in the changing facilities of the Spa was a hidden sanctuary where we restored our energy, be sure to grab some dried fruit snacks on the way up Lool!

Dining: The Four seasons Hampshire has 5 eateries as well as in room dining. We chose to glam up and visit the Seasons restaurant where I had a trio of Lamb and a scrumptious Carrot Cake. The following morning we chose the in room dining, we was welcomed by a friendly member of staff with an array of hot food and pastries which was the perfect setting for the days adventures.

The Great Outdoors: Having escaped to Hampshire it was only right that we explored the 500 acres of parkland or how far our feet could take us! I did see many people on bikes that could be hired from the hotel which I’m sure was a great way to see the lakes the residence had to offer.

Overall experience: With the warm welcome from staff and Oliver the Dog, spa facilities and exquisite food I will sure be back. Next time I we most definitely try the recreational activities.

Hints and Tips: Don’t forget…You can also grab a bike and ride around the grounds or play a game tennis as these are both on site.

Four seasons Hampshire is the perfect place to relax with a group of mates or bring a lover and get some away time.
