Boom Burger – Notting Hill – Review- HOTSPOT

Now the What2 team have experienced a lot of burgers throughout our journey but never have we had anything like a Boom Burger.

Boom Burger originally started off as a pop up and it’s only right that they now have a permanent base in the heart of portobello road. With caribbean music blazing before you enter the small vibrant restaurant, you know that you’re going to be in for a treat. Filled with locals and charming Londoners… Boom Burger is our new go to hotspot.

Hats off to Boom Burger’s founder Josh De Lisser, who’s brought a little piece of Jamaica to London to stay. Now theres no need to wait for carnival to tuck into some sizzling jerk chicken or sip on Jamaica’s finest rum punch. With a name like Boom Burger we were hesitant to see how good these’s burgers actually were but we have to give it them… They were fab! Feasting on their Boom Burger, Jerk Boom and their halloween special Doom burger, which currently isn’t on the main menu but we strongly suggest you check it out. The contents of the burger are slapped right into the middle of a sweet tasting brioche bun… and served just the way we like em… medium well.

We know Boom Burger is all about the burgers but these guys side dishes are crazy… With fish fritters, Plantain Chips… yes plantain chips and jerk wings on the menu, we had to order them all. We highly suggest you do the same!!!
