The word nativity says it all… its a christmas film…But Black nativity is not just any old christmas nativity especially with their all star cast and hard hitting story line.
Black Nativity is a modern day spin of Langston Hughes musical drama “Black Nativity”. The film stars Jennifer Hudson,Nas, Jacob Latimore, Tyrese, Mary J Blige and many more. Black Nativity focuses on a journey of a young teen, having to spend his christmas holidays with his estranged grandparents. His mother played by Jennifer Hudson, struggles to keep her son out of baltimore and with his grand parents in New york city.
Its always good to watch something a little different, especially when they have a all star cast. Black Nativity is filled with soulful music sung by amazing artist and actors.
Its starting to really feel like christmas around town!
We will definitely be checking it out as soon as it hits screens on December 6th!
