AIR JORDAN 5 OG ‘GRAPES’

The Air Jordan 5 ‘Grapes’ come out on May 4th. It’s that time of the year to rock the freshest kicks and these new Air Jordan 5 OG’s do not disappoint. They are one of the first Jordan Lifestyle sneakers and this specific style was influenced by Americas popular grape drink, which creates the ‘Grape’ colourway.

Lets get into the upper part of the trainers:

The white leather is very smooth and soft and similar to the summer favourites (The Air Force One). Just make sure you watch where you walk and we all know people are magnetically attracted to step on white kicks without them even knowing it. Also watch out at BBQ’s, Parties or any functions where loads of people can be found. They look the best FRESH!

These Air Jordan’s are really brought to life with infusion of purple and green. On most grape drink bottles the logos are coloured dark purple with a small green leaf on the top and these Jordan’s do the exact same. The tongue is covered in Purple with a green Jumpman in the centre, with a green border around it and a green Jumpman on the back. The midsole is purple with green accents on either side to also create a grape effect on the bottom of the trainer. You can not forget the Icey Blue sole which looks great in those hot summer months to come.

These trainers are a nice piece of sneaker history and have not been in the shops for nearly 7 years. Its nice to know you can wear these and have people say, “Where did you get those? I couldn’t find them anywhere”. These Air Jordan’s are white which means you have to take extra care of them.

Hints and Tips: If the white colourways are not your thing they will be released in black later on in the year.
