Acciuga – Italian Restaurant – Kensington – Review

Last week Wednesday we were kindly invited to a blogger dining experience at Acciuga, by food app Zomato. Zomato organised a unique opportunity for ultimate foodies to get to together and have a chit chat and a munch, whilst gaining knowledge on one of Londons finest Italian spots… Acciuga.

The evening consist of amazing cocktails, history talks and a sneak peak on what goes on in the kitchen at Acciuga. We always love it when a restaurant is willing to show off about what goes on behind the scenes. Filled with many pots and pans…obviously… Acciuga’s head chef was even able to show us how he preps certain dishes, leaving us ready to tuck into our 3 course meal.

It’s often that when you dine in finer parts of town, the portion sizes tend to be a little smaller, so we definitely recommend you go all out!

When we go to Italian Restaurant we love to mix it up a bit and feast on dishes that we wouldn’t usually eat on a everyday basis.

With that being said we wanted to have a fish day:  so for starters we dived into anchovies with a tomato sauce, our main was their cod dish and for our dessert, we had their triple flavoured ice-cream. Each dish was perfectly presented by a staffing team that were friendly and up for discussing what your about to tuck into.

As it was a private invent it would be unfair to judge the atmosphere but we would definitely recommend this spot, for those who love a fancy meal in city or a dinner date.
