South Place Hotel – Le Chiffre Private Members Club – Review

With many bars opening in London, our glasses turned to the design and attention to detail of the Le Chiffre. This spot took us back to the poker-playing Bond villain in Casino Royale. This Private Members club ideally located in the South Place Hotel sure exceeded all of our expectations.

With Cocktail week being an extraordinary success we were set to explore what Le Chiffre had to offer in preparation for chocolate week, which is a Chocotails dream come true!

What better way to experience chocolate week than with a Chocolate Cocktail tasting experience!! Le Chiffre has a quirky design full of fun art and edible alcoholic cucumber chips of course!

Many people will have a favourite cocktail ours being Mojito’s and Daiquiri but why not have your own bartender create something new and wonderful, with a name like Peach we knew we were in good hands to experience the sweet flavours Le Chiffre had to offer. We started with what we called Crazy Creation a drizzled chocolate coated glass and Quack Quack proofs in the name.

We soon got into the chocolate spirit and quenched our thirst with Chocolate Negroni, which had a sharp taste at first but we were soon advised to lick the glass for the full chocolate experience!

Want full aroma, try the DandD Old Fashion, with Sandalwood textures but still light and sweet with the chocolate garnish.

If you’re staying at South Place Hotel be sure to check out Le Chiffre or become a member of Spies. With the bartender on hand or if no ones around be sure to press for service on the telephone.

We were fortunate enough to meet the man behind the chocolate used in Le Chiffre. With Peach catering to our every Chocotails whim we will certainly be back to hopefully extend our stay and experience the full South Place Hotel package.
