Sticks N Sushi- Greenwhich – Review

Trendy sushi hotspot Sticks N Sushi have landed in the maritime town of Royal Greenwich and it’s super tasty, super friendly and super cool.

With an interior of clean lines, leather tables and modern fittings, you’d mistake these guys for being somewhere you’d need to save up a few weeks for.

Sticks N Sushi have pulled out all the stops at their Greenwich branch to create an inviting, social space to share sushi. The menu whilst full of choice, is easy to navigate with photos of each item to make it easier, and if like us, you’re indecisive with your food, there’s a separate menu of 14 set meals.

On our visit we opted for a starter of a spicy tuna Kaburimaki roll, then a choice from the set menu- more specifically the “Man Food” combination; a Yakitori of tender meats stuffed onto six sticks with a side of fluffy, sticky rice and Edamame beans. Pork, beef, and goats cheese wrapped in Parma Ham make an appearance but our highlight was definitely beef choice which came drizzled in a sweet sauce. The meal at £20 each was more than filling, but we made room for desert, gorging on their Mercel Chocolate and Coconut cakes.

The food is beautifully prepared and the servers are welcoming and attentive, explaining what type of meat combination was on each stick as she served us.

For two people having drinks, starters and a set menu, you’re looking at around £70. Set menu is great for those on a budget; desserts are £2-3, or those willing to splash; you can purchase various platters from £40-£90 which are great for sharing.

We love a good sushi date, and with a presence in Covent Garden and Wimbledon, we wouldn’t be surprised if their Sushi goodness makes an appearance in a new location soon!

Its a big thumbs up from us. Get booking!
