Zumbura – Restaurant – Clapham – Review

Clapham is the perfect spot for something to do and especially something to eat… Just as we thought that we had checked out everywhere in clapham… Zumbura popped up.

Zumbura is a restaurant that suits all from vegetarians to meat eaters and those who love indian food. They specialise in serving home made Indian food with a twist. With chickpeas, spinach fritters and a selection of many meats, this place is perfect for not gaining the pounds. Located in clapham old town, Zumbura brings something different to the restaurant scene.

Straight away we noticed how vibrant the atmosphere was and how helpful the staff were, instantly greeting us with open arms. We could tell that it would be easy to become a local to Zumbura. With many dishes on the menu we wanted to try the most popular dishes. We ordered a selection of starters, two mains and could not refuse trying their pistachio ice-cream for dessert. For starters we recommend you try their lamb chops which were cooked just how we liked it. The portion sizes are not the biggest, so we suggest you order a selection. When we ordered their black chickpeas to go with our chicken curry, we were a little bit apprehensive… We had no need to be as they tasted great.

If your on the look out for healthier yet tastier options then Zumbura is the spot. We will most certainly be heading back down to check out the other dishes they have to offer.
