Shaka Zulu South African Restaurant – Camden
Last night we spent our evening at the famous South African restaurant/night club Shaka Zulu. One of Camden’s hotspots for great food and a good night out. Straight away we were welcomed to a lively and energetic atmosphere as the dancers and the music set the tone for the evening. The décor was filled with statues and ornaments that we couldn’t resist grabbing a picture of.
Shaka Zulu’s unique menu grabbed our attention, when we saw dishes that included “Crocodile” “Wilderbeest” and “Zebra”. Were not really ones to take a risk with our stomachs, but last night we were up for the challenge. The food and service was awesome, defiantly a must go to place. The management team greeted us with open arms and even a picture.
Beware that Shaka Zulu can be pricey, so keep an eye on what you order. But if your not watching the pennies, this is defiantly a place that you’ll enjoy. Shaka Zulu attracted us even more when we booked online and grabbed a voucher for half price on our 1st drink.
We left the restaurant with a little bit of South Africa in our hearts and then went upstairs to shake a leg in their nightclub.
Hints and tips: They accept Taster Cards, which you’ll receive 50% of your bill but only weekdays.
We recommend you make a reservation before hand to guarantee a table.
