Tayyabs- The Perfect Indian Cuisine

With so many restaurants to choose from around town, Tayyabs seems to be one of east London’s most popular restaurants. With ques that lead out of the door and a atmosphere that will have you buzzing the minute you enter, were sure your gonna love it.

Tayyabs is located in the heart of Whitechapel amongst other restaurants and bars, but we can promise you that this is the go to one! The restaurant is so popular that you have to make a booking or be prepared to wait to be seated. The staff are welcoming and often turn the tables over pretty fast, so the wait should never be longer that 20 minutes (depending on the amount of people). Whilst waiting to be you’ll be able to sniff the spices and herbs and whiteness the sizzling dishes being served.

The pricing on the menu is just how we like it …. Reasonable and understanding. The team recommend that you share orders as you can order dishes like platters and curry’s to share. The food is served at a very good temperature and the food is scrum-shish! Before Tayyabs, we were used to ordering the usual plain nan bread but we were recommended by one of their staff to try out their peshwari nan and we have never gone back.

For those who like to have a drink or two with their meal (alcohol), Tayyabs welcome their visitors to bring their own bottles. What a a good reason to celebrate your birthday here and not worry about the drink bill.

It can get very busy in the restaurant, which sometimes makes you feel a little rushed but as long as your paying, feel free to just sit back and enjoy the good food and scenery.

Hints and Tips: Don’t forget your drinks!
