We have been waiting for the release of this thought provoking movie and its finally hitting UK screens on the 10th of January.
12 years a slave is not the average traditional slave movie, this movie is bound to have you moved and gob smacked. The film is based on a true story of a man called Solomon Northup who was once a free man and then kidnapped. He Goes on to endure 12 years of hard slavery that will have you shouting at the TV screens or crying from the cruelty.
12 years a slave Stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, lupita nyong’o and Brad Pitt who produced the movie.
